"I think the biggest thing for me this year was racing at Nationals. Not only was it really cool and fun, but it was an enormous eye opener. I felt pretty solid at the races in VT where it was more or less just people from VT, but going to Nationals has given me the motivation to work even harder next year. It was great to be in a bigger pool. I also have found that just when riding with the other more experienced guys has helped tremendously. Next year my biggest advantage will be that I will have a much earlier start. I wasn't on the team this year until May so I felt a little behind as far as training went."
